SBC Challenge #8 – Tag Card

Challenge #8:  Cards with a tag
Sponsored by Kenny K downloads

KennyK shop badge

Digi and rubber stamps from KennyK are a fun and edgy way to add the perfect dose of attitude and style to all of your creations!

Kenny K is giving away 3 FREE digi stamps for the winner of this new challenge.

Here is my card with a tag using a digi image from Kenny K

This is how I done my Card with Tag:

The design paper and mat is printed from a file from CraftsArtist Pro 2.  I saved the background paper as a png file, and brought into the Silhouette Studio Design Edition.  The tag and Christmas sentiment tag from my library in the Silhouette Studio.  Used the picker in the fill color menu and picked a color from the design paper and created the mat with that color.  The digi and Christmas sentiment was print and cut out.

I placed brads on corners of card plus two gemstones on the sentiment label.  Added a red ribbon to the tag and there is my Card with a Tag.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me,and please join us in the challenge which  ends on Friday, December 27th at midnight.  Also, you are welcome to join up in our Facebook group: Scrapbook Blessings Club for more fun, games, inspiration, tips and techniques.

A Mid-July Freebie

Actually we have another week and half left of July, but mid-July sounds good, right!  And it’s been a hot one, too.
Here is a file that comes in svg, mtc, jpeg and png format for use as a embellishment for a card or a scrap page, and can be cut on any machine.  This file is for personal use only.  Please click on the image for download.
Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

Crockpot BBQ Ribs Recipe

I started this recipe card over six weeks ago and than went on vacation and it was filed away to complete later.  Later came and I finished it this evening.

I will let you all in on a secret … I spent a little time of putting the pieces of the cow and pig together using my Silhouette Studio DE and than grouped it all together and print and cut the whole image, rather than cutting out each individual piece and glue-ing together.  I re-size about three times to get the size I wanted but I am satisfied with the results.  Oh yes, I have tried this recipe and it is great.

Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all.

DT Call at Stampin Dragon

I am applying for a position on the Design Team with Stampin Design.  I create cards, scrapbook layouts, mini-albums, altered books which are created for grandchildren from ages 8 through 22.  I use digital stamps, some but very few rubber stamps, and have been using digital papers with my mini-albums.  My embellishments are cut out with my Silhouette Cameo where I have learn how to print and cut the digital stamp, sketch the digital stamp, create card bases for the card or the mats.  I enjoy crafting.  I also quilt and will be creating two quilts for granddaughters … one getting married in August and the other .. not date has been set that I know of.

Here is examples of my working with digital stamps included….

Thank you and hugs to all.

Creative Cutting Challenge Anything Goes – Bowling 2-page layout

Page 1 of 2 page layout

Page 2 of a 2 page layout

Using A Bowling file from Creative Pointe, I created a 2-page layout of my granddaughter bowling and on page one you will see her bowing to the her loved ones because she made a spare…..

Bowling pins borders, Let’s Roll! title and bowler in the left hand corner of page one, and right corner of page 2 from Creative Pointe designs.  The frame is my creation, combining bowling ball and pin to the frame and layered over a photo.

Going with the same borders on page 2, and the bowler in right corner from Creative Pointe, I also matted the photo of happy granddaughter.  The title is a purchased file from another svg company (can’t remember as I purchase a lot of files here and there) and placed bowling balls at the end of each top border of bowling pins.

Check out the Design Teams beautiful work at http://www.creativingcuttingchallenges.blogspot.com and add your creations for a chance to win a prize.

Easter … Anything but a Card Challenge #28

A Easter Basket filled with Easter Eggs for Easter gift giving or decorating the home, school or office.
The template for the basket was found while viewing blogs and she suggested if we have a Cricut or Silhouette Came we could convert to a cutting file which I done in SCAL3 ….I cut out in poster board for stability and than cut out the template in card stock and sprayed glue the two pieces together.
Both the circular scalloped label, bunny and Easter Egg digital available at:
PlatypusCreekDigitals … Bunny under cutting files tab and the Easter Egg/sentiment in her digital section.
